Re: A request to veto any amendment of the Assembly Bill No. 368
Dear Governor Newsom,
Please, veto any amendment of the Assembly Bill No. 368, "An act to
amend Section 1410 of the Military and Veterans Code, relating to
veterans cemeteries" that would swap the Irvine’s location of of the
Veterans' Cemetery of Amended and Restated Development Agreement for
the Anaheim Hills site at Gypsum Canyon.
I am against location of the Cemetery at Gypsum Canyon for the following reasons.
The new proposed location of the cemetery on a slope of the prominent
hill in Anaheim Hills at Gypsum Canyon facing well-populated
residential areas of Easternmost parts of Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda
will likely have a negative impact on the perceived quality and
enjoyment of life of residents in these areas.
